Nowadays, mechanical processing requires more advanced technical qualities: hard metal cutting tools are exposed to extreme conditions and very high cutting speeds, with consequent issues to do with overheating, wear and tear and physical and chemical interactions between the tool and the material being treated.


For this reason, Euro Tools offers customers a range of PVD (Physical Vapour Depositation) coatings, which allow the tool a reduced coeffi cient of friction and optimal adherence to the underlying material, thereby ensuring:
• Increased life of the tool;
• Increased productivity;
• A lower number of tool changes, which signifi cantly reduces machine stop times;
• Lower production costs;
• Better quality in the treated surface.


F COATING (FOR MILLING)
This is a nanolayer coating that is particularly suited to dry milling and high speeds, with a high toughness and excellent thermal and chemical stability. It can guarantee an advanced and uniform resistance to wear and tear as well as high temperatures.

X COATING (FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE MILLING)
This is an ideal coating for milling very hard materials (over 50 HRC) and for high-performance treatments, designed exclusively for hard-metal tools. With its extreme toughness and excellent thermal and chemical stability, it effectively protects tools used in extreme work conditions against wear and tear.

H COATING (FOR DRILLING)

A coating designed exclusively for drilling, ideal in treating very hard materials (above or equal to 50 HRC), it guarantees the tool a high resistance to abrasion, toughness and excellent strength, allowing the user to cut costs with a higher drilling speed and reduce the number of tool changes.
